Reception on occasion of Jamhuri Day held at Cultural Center On December 12, the Cultural Center hosted a diplomatic reception of the Kenyan Embassy in the Russian Federation on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the country's independence.

Benson Henry Ouma Ogutu, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Russian Federation, and Jane Kirindi Kitinji, Deputy Chief of Mission, took part in the event.

Georgy Todua, Deputy Director of the Africa Department, represented the MFA of Russia. The guests were representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Russian Federation and business groups. Cultural traditions and natural attractions of the Republic of Kenya were presented in the foyer of the Cultural Center.
