The Cultural Center has hosted a diplomatic reception of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces, which is celebrated in the country on December 2 to commemorate the landing of the Granma which brought Cuban revolutionaries led by Fidel Castro in 1956.

Colonel Mónica Milián Gómez, Air Force and Naval Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba, greeted the guests of the evening. he event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Russian Federation, Russian Minister of Defense and other officials.

The program included retrospective historical photographs and national music performed at the concert hall of the Cultural Center.
