The first Eurasian Congress of People's Diplomacy opens at the Cultural Center
The Cultural Center hosted the opening ceremony of the first Eurasian Congress of People's Diplomacy held by the Public Chamber of the EEC countries. In addition to the plenary session at the Cultural Center, the three-day congress program also included events at the Russian New University and the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
As part of the plenary session, conceptual thematic reports were given by directors of public and ethnocultural institutions, international experts and heads of government agencies in Russia and other countries of the EAEU and Greater Eurasia.
During the meeting, participants emphasized that the Eurasian Congress focuses on the formation of a permanent international platform for the development and implementation of tools to strengthen integration based on international law.
Cultural and traditional moral and spiritual values were in the focus of attention. Religious leaders highlighted that spiritual guidelines influence the formation of equitable social and economic development of the participating countries.
At the end of the plenary session, congress participants attended the concert called Dances of the Peoples of the World involving the School-Studio of the Igor Moiseyev State Academic Ensemble of Popular Dance. The performance was opened with a greeting from Gyuzel Apanaeva, the director of the ensemble, Honored Artist of the RSFSR, People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
